MMS can provide full-service FOG Program assistance that includes food service establishment (FSE) inventory assessment, conduct FSE inspections with documentation and access to the MMS SOFT (sewer maintenance, overflow and FOG Tracking) database, issuing noncompliance notifications, approved grease waste hauler program implementation with monthly report upload to database, grease control equipment certification program implementation, follow-up to enforcement actions, and grease control equipment sizing and type reviews. MMS can also conduct onsite training of City personnel for the City to conduct FOG Program activities.
FOG Program Legal Authority Review
MMS will review city sewer use ordinance and make revisions/edits to include reference or direct inclusion of a FOG Management Policy that includes U.S. EPA 9 key elements of a FOG program, design standards, grease control maintenance and recordkeeping requirements, and FSE and Grease Waste Hauler Enforcement Response Guide.
